About Ready For The World, Inc

Established in 1998, Ready For The World, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by Constance R. Durham, LMFT, a visionary leader and dedicated humanitarian. What began as a grassroots response to urgent human needs has grown into a comprehensive, multi-service organization with over 25 years of proven experience in behavioral health, substance abuse recovery, mental health services, and rehabilitative care.

Rooted in compassion and driven by purpose, Ready For The World initially focused on underserved issues such as HIV awareness, women’s immunological health, maternal mortality, foster care and adoption challenges, housing insecurity, and community instability. As a hands-on Care Manager, Constance saw firsthand the collapsing support systems around vulnerable populations—and responded by creating sustainable, person-centered solutions
